DESCRIPTION
Pole vault planting box safety collars contribute to the overall safety of pole vaulting by reducing the risk of accidents and injuries to athletes from falling into the planting box during a vault attempt. The safety collar is placed around the opening of the planting box and acts as a barrier to minimize injury. It should be positioned to cover all hard surfaces between the vault box and the front tri-slant pieces.
Our pole vault box safety collars are manufactured from 4” high density foam wrapped with yellow 18.5 oz. outdoor vinyl. Meets current ASTM F2949-12 standard and complies with NFHS and NCAA rules, requirements, and specifications.
