DESCRIPTION
Pole vault base protector pads are protective padding designed to enhance the safety around the base of the pole vault standards. These pads are placed around the base of the pole vault standard to minimize the risk of injury to athletes in case of accidental collisions or falls during their take off and planting phase of the event.
Our base protector pads are available in standard and angled styles. They are manufactured from high density polyurethane foam wrapped in 18.5 oz. outdoor vinyl in a variety of standard colors.
Pole vault base protector pads are sold separately from our DuraZone® and JumpZone® pole vault landing systems and are required by World Athletics (IAAF), NCAA, and the NFHS.
