Sportsfield Specialties, Inc. (SSI) is seeking a CNC Operator at our Mocksville, NC location.
Responsibilities/Duties include but not limited to:
• Maintain clean work environment and make safety priority in all tasks.
• Plan machining from work orders, blueprints, materials, specifications, drawings reference plans and machining parameters.
• Operate CNC machine to meet daily production targets and customer due dates.
• Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances.
• Verify settings by measuring positions.
• Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
• Follow processes and procedures for order processing and accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Skills:
• Attention to detail and a multitasker.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
Experience/Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3-5 years’ experience in operating CNC machine.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of standing.
• Lift, push/pull, and carry anywhere up to 1 to 80 lbs. periodically and occasionally above shoulder.
