SSI is seeking a hands-on Painter for the 2nd shift at the NY2 location who can work independently and/or with others as a production team member with good analytical skills. Candidate must be reliable and flexible with assigned schedule.
Responsibilities/Duties include but not limited to:
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with the required procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintain and operate powder coat equipment and spray booth as needed.
- Enter accurate data into production ERP system.
- Sand, polish, wash, dry and apply powder coat to products specifications.
- Operate ovens and measure/monitor temperatures per product specifications.
- Operate lift trucks and overhead cranes to move paint carts and supplies.
- Maintain proper respirator care/operation.
- Weigh paint for accurate costing.
- Become efficient with painting techniques to meet quality and efficiency needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to use and operate power tools, ladders, and warehouse equipment safely.
Experience/Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Hours: Monday – Thursday: 2:30pm to 1:00am.
