Location: Delhi, NY
Sportsfield Specialties is seeking an experienced, career-minded Customer Service Representative to help support Sales and its Regional Managers in Delhi, NY.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Ability to successfully manage and track multiple customer projects from order placement to completion, while ensuring consistent customer contact and project profitability.
- Accurately perform data entry to reflect project and production requirements as required by project designer/customer.
- Collaborate/Communicate internally with the following to follow up as necessary with contractor representative(s).
- Finance ~ to establish customer credit,
- Engineering for costing, submittal, and final product information,
- Purchasing for vendor orders,
- Production for lead times and,
- Shipping for ensuring accurate shipments and packaging details.
- Deliver excellent customer service externally and internally by responding to all inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain territory sales backlog.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, including a working understanding of product installation and basic site construction, as well as a basic understanding of the rules and regulations of an associated sport or event.
- Address project issues with clients as they arise and follow through as the expert and solutions provider to provide the best possible customer satisfaction experience.
- As required and in conjunction with Inside Sales counterpart, conduct project material take-offs for quoting development by consistent use of plan room platforms to find and view project design plans and specifications, as well as potential project bidder and/or award information.
- Travel as needed and perform other duties as assigned.

- Excellent written, verbal, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining customer focus.
- Ability to successfully work in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel, etc.
- Inquisitive nature encouraged.
Experience/Education:
- Associates degree preferred or 2+ years of progressive Customer Service and/or Project Management experience in lieu of.
Salary Range: $50 – 60k/annually, the posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
