Location: Deposit, NY
Sportsfield Specialties is seeking two experienced Shipping workers, for its Deposit, NY location, who can work independently and/or with others as a production team member with good analytical skills.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with the required procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Fill customer orders with accuracy and in a timely manner.
- Stage daily orders by shipping category/location.
- Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store products.
- Pack and ship items securely and effectively to minimize damage.
- Ensure that inventory and shipments are secure and well-organized.
- Ability to trouble shoot and think outside the box when shipping issues occur.
- Must be reliable and flexible with schedule during summer months.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Ability to multi-task in a busy environment, manage your time and be self-motivated.
- Ability to complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with assigned team member(s) and customers.
- Ability to use and operate power tools and warehouse equipment safely.
Experience/Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Shipping experience preferred but not required.
